Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Delivers 2.89 Lakh Pucca Houses Worth ₹3,473 Crore to Rajasthan Under PMAY-G

During a visit to Baran, Rajasthan, Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan handed over approval letters for 2,89,355 pucca houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana‑Gramin (PMAY‑G) with a project outlay of ₹3,473 crore. He also approved ₹340.59 crore for agricultural development, including the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana. A survey of 29.13 lakh new beneficiaries has been completed, and after physical verification further houses will be sanctioned. The minister announced three eligibility reforms: inclusion of two‑wheeler owners, women earning up to ₹15,000 per month, and small farmers (≤5 acres unirrigated or ≤2.5 acres irrigated).
