Indian Defence Estates Service officer trainees call on Raksha Mantri

On 17 August 2026, officer trainees of the Indian Defence Estates Service (2025 batch) undergoing training at NIDEM met Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh in New Delhi. The Minister praised the Defence Estates Department's role in managing defence land and cantonment municipal administration, and urged civil servants to serve with 'Seva Bhav', attend to public grievances, and maintain physical and mental well-being through meditation. Director General Defence Estates Smt Shobha Gupta was present during the interaction.
