Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan graces Ruby and Silver Jubilee Valedictory Celebrations of SASTRA Deemed University, Thanjavur

Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan attended the Ruby and Silver Jubilee Valedictory Celebrations of SASTRA Deemed University in Thanjavur, praising the institution as a leading higher‑education centre in Tamil Nadu. He reiterated that the National Education Policy 2020 is a guiding pillar for education from KG to Ph.D., and cited the government’s target to raise the higher‑education Gross Enrolment Ratio from the current 30 % to 50 % by 2035. The Vice President highlighted the recently enacted Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill as a step toward fairer examinations, and announced six new SASTRA schemes covering AI, cybersecurity, faculty capacity building and digital resources. He also lauded SASTRA’s partnership with Tata Communications for building a resilient security infrastructure aligned with the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.
