Air Force Band of Maintenance Command IAF Delivers Stirring Independence Day Performance in Nagpur

On 17 August 2026, the Air Force Band of Headquarters Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force, performed at the Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Auditorium in Nagpur as part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations. The band presented a mix of traditional military music and contemporary patriotic songs, including "Maa Tujhe Salam," "Jai Ho," "Bharat Humko" and "Lehra Do," concluding with the National Anthem. Air Marshal Yalla Umesh, VSM, PhD, felicitated Padma Shri Dr. Vilas Dangre, the special guest. The event was attended by families of martyrs, civil dignitaries, school children and local residents, reflecting the armed forces' community engagement.
