Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 944 development projects worth ₹5,755 crore across 15 districts of Rajasthan at Chittorgarh. He also unveiled a 21‑foot‑tall statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, costing over ₹1.5 crore. The minister highlighted the increase in the Scheduled‑Tribe component budget from ₹25,000 crore to ₹1,25,000 crore and cited the ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’ scheme’s expansion to 64 lakh households in Rajasthan. He referenced the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ event that attracted investments of ₹35 lakh crore and led to 36 new policies, 178,000 jobs and gas‑cylinder subsidies of ₹1,128 crore.
