Central Government Institutes in Nagpur Celebrate 80th Independence Day with Enthusiasm

On 15 August 2026, nine Central Government institutes in Nagpur marked India’s 80th Independence Day with flag‑hoisting ceremonies, patriotic programmes and participation of staff, trainees and families. Institutions highlighted included AIIMS Nagpur (medical education and research), NDRF Academy (disaster‑response training), Indian Bureau of Mines (mineral sector progress), IIM Nagpur (cultural performances), National Forensic Sciences University (forensic education), NTPC Mouda (power generation), BSNL Nagpur Business Area (telecom services), JNARDDC (aluminium research) and the Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (social inclusion). Each institute used the occasion to reaffirm its contribution to nation‑building and to celebrate achievements in their respective domains.
