Mormugao Port Authority Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour

On 15 August 2026, the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) in Goa marked the 80th Independence Day under the themes ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘My India My Pride’. The event began with a rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ and the hoisting of the national flag by Dr. N. Vinodkumar, Chairperson, MPA. A Guard of Honour was provided by the CISF unit and MPA Fire Brigade, and Best Employee Awards were presented to MPA officials along with special awards to CISF personnel. Cultural performances by students of Deepvihar School and port officials added to the patriotic atmosphere.
