Department of Telecommunications, Government of India to host BRICS ICT Track in Pune from 17 to 21 August 2026

Under India’s BRICS Chairmanship for 2026, the Department of Telecommunications will host the BRICS ICT Track in Pune from 17‑21 August 2026. The five‑day programme, themed “Innovate, Cooperate and Transform (ICT) for a Resilient Future”, will comprise three key events – the 7th BRICS Working Group Meeting on ICT cooperation, the Digital BRICS Forum & Expo, and the 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting. Delegates will discuss priority areas such as universal and sustainable connectivity, secure and human‑centric digital environments, digital skills, innovation, startups, AI, cybersecurity, and child online protection. Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia will represent India at the Ministers’ Meeting.
