The NHRC deemed the incident a possible human‑rights violation and issued a notice to the Haryana Chief Secretary and the Faridabad Police Commissioner, seeking a detailed report within two weeks on the investigation status, the injured worker’s health, any compensation provided, and the next‑of‑kin details of the deceased.
