Electronics Hardware Technology Parks Strengthen India’s Export Oriented Electronics Manufacturing Ecosystem

The Electronics Hardware Technology Parks (EHTP) Scheme, a 100 % export‑oriented programme under the Ministry of Electronics & IT, recorded 79 units in FY 2025‑26, up from 70 in FY 2023‑24. Export earnings from these units reached an estimated ₹11,102 crore in FY 2025‑26, compared with ₹9,678 crore in FY 2023‑24. The scheme provides duty‑free import of capital goods and raw materials, permission for Domestic Tariff Area sales, and streamlined customs and single‑window clearances as per the Foreign Trade Policy 2023. STPI has automated statutory services and replaced case‑by‑case import permissions with blanket approvals to accelerate investment and participation.
