WCL Organises Tiranga Rally in Nagpur to Promote Patriotism and National Unity

On 13 August 2026, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) held a Tiranga Rally in Nagpur as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign ahead of Independence Day. The event began with a collective singing of “Vande Mataram” and featured WCL Chairman‑cum‑MD Dr Hemant Sharad Pande urging citizens to hoist the national flag at home, while emphasizing the company’s role in strengthening India’s energy security through coal production. Senior officials, including Directors Bikram Ghosh and Sandeep Paranjape and Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Mhetre, participated as the rally moved through Civil Lines and Telangkhedi before returning to the WCL headquarters, spreading messages of patriotism and national unity.
