Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Convenes Two-Day National Workshop on Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan with Participation of Over 160 Representatives from All States and UTs

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare held a two‑day National Workshop on the Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (AMB) on 12–13 August 2026 in New Delhi, with over 160 participants from all States and Union Territories and representatives from six other ministries. The workshop reviewed the revised AMB Operational Guidelines launched by Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda on 29 June 2026, which replace the earlier 6×6×6 framework with a 7×7×7 strategy emphasizing testing, case‑based management, dietary diversity and digital beneficiary tracking. A dedicated AMB digital platform and IEC materials were launched, and states were recognised for strong implementation. Speakers highlighted inter‑ministerial convergence, Jan Bhagidari community participation and the use of analytics and AI for targeted interventions.
