COORDINATION BETWEEN NCOL AND STATE COOPERATIVE FEDERATIONS

The Ministry of Cooperation reports that National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL) is coordinating with State Cooperative Federations to advance organic farming and related value‑chain activities. Coordination mechanisms include Memoranda of Understanding with State Cooperative Departments or Nodal Agencies, and the inclusion of cooperative institutions such as Cooperative Societies, Primary Agricultural Credit Societies, and Farmer Producer Organizations as members or partners. These partnerships aim to facilitate aggregation, procurement, processing, packaging and marketing of organic produce under the "Bharat Organics" brand and to support the formation of NPOP‑certified Internal Control System groups.
