TRAINING INSTITUTES FOR CAPFs

The Ministry of Home Affairs reports that 83 training institutions for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) have been established across India. Ongoing expansion, modernization and upgradation of these centres are undertaken as needed, including procurement of vehicles and technical equipment. The government has decided to set up a Central Jungle Warfare College (CRPF) in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh, and a Regional Training Centre (CISF) in Kishanganj district, Bihar, as stated by Minister of State Shri Nityanand Rai in a Lok Sabha written reply.
