Girls Trained Under NAVYA

Under the Nurturing Aspirations through Vocational Training for Young Adolescent Girls (NAVYA) programme, 1,060 girls from 15 States/UTs have been trained as of 30 June 2026. NAVYA operates under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 and provides industry‑relevant skill courses with on‑the‑job training, along with a holistic development module covering digital, financial, career and entrepreneurship skills. The government plans to expand the programme to 100 aspirational districts from 27 May 2026. Monitoring is done via the Skill India Digital Hub, with regular reviews involving Project Implementing Agencies and State Skill Development Missions, which are also tasked to facilitate placements and apprenticeships for certified candidates.
