INDIAN CULTURE PORTAL VERSION 2.0

The Ministry of Culture launched the upgraded Indian Culture Portal (ICP) Version 2.0 in March 2026 to enhance digital access to India’s cultural heritage. The portal now uses a modern, scalable, secure architecture with a responsive UI, advanced search, and Progressive Web Application (PWA) capability. Content is available in 22 Indian languages via the BHASHINI platform, and an AI‑powered chatbot named Bharti assists users with multilingual queries. Integration with museums, libraries, archives and other cultural institutions is achieved through standard metadata exchange and APIs, creating a unified discovery platform for researchers, students and the public.
