Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising on truthful and authentic information

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on 10 August 2026 shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam on the official X handle, urging that information disseminated to the public must be truthful, authentic and in the public interest, thereby empowering people and fostering harmony. The verse quoted is: “भद्रं कर्णेभिः शृणुयाम देवा भद्रं पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः। स्थिरैरङ्गैस्तुष्टुवांसस्तनूभिर्व्यशेम देवहितं यदायुः॥”.
