Vice-President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan launches ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ in Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’ in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands on August 9, 2026, hoisting the National Flag at Flag Point, Sri Vijaya Puram. He linked the launch to the islands’ historic role in the freedom struggle, citing Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s flag‑hoisting on 30 December 1943 and the Quit India Movement of 1942.
