INDIAN AIR FORCE BAND PERFORMANCE DURING INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2026

The Indian Air Force (IAF) Band will perform at the Public Plaza, Param Yodha Sthal, National War Memorial, New Delhi on 9 August 2026 from 1700 to 1800 hrs, marking Independence Day. The ensemble consists of 32 airmen and 8 Agniveervayu personnel, including three women. The performance, aimed at fostering national pride, will feature patriotic and soulful numbers celebrating 150 years of the national song 'Vande Mataram'. The principal conductor is Master Warrant Officer A Srihari, assisted by Junior Warrant Officers Moon Deka and Abhishek Paul, and Sergeant N.T. Singh.
