Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah to inaugurate NUCFDC's new office in Mumbai tomorrow

Union Minister Shri Amit Shah will inaugurate the National Urban Co‑operative Finance and Development Corporation (NUCFDC) office in Mumbai on 8 August 2026. The event will also launch a Security Operations Centre and a nationwide Core Banking Service for Urban Cooperative Banks, and a MoU will be signed with the National Forensic Sciences University to boost cyber‑security and technology capabilities. The Minister will release the book ‘Operational Risk Management – A Practical Guide to Urban Co‑operative Banks’ and felicitate the first six banks that have connected to the ‘Sahakar CBS’. NUCFDC, set up on 2 March 2024, aims to provide shared technology platforms, cyber‑security solutions and capacity‑building to urban cooperative banks, helping them reduce costs and compete with private banks.
