Union Minister Smt. Annpurna Devi Urges Citizens to Adopt Indian Handloom Products on National Handloom Day

On National Handloom Day, Union Minister Smt. Annpurna Devi of the Ministry of Women and Child Development urged citizens to adopt Indian handloom products, highlighting that handloom is the foundation of India’s culture, traditions and the livelihood of lakhs of weaver families. She appealed to the public to share videos of their favourite handloom items on the social platform ‘X’, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, and to reinforce the ‘Vocal for Local’ resolve, thereby promoting the artisans and weavers.
