IndiaAI Mission Organised AIKosh University Engagement Programme at Chitkara University to Strengthen India's AI Talent Ecosystem

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology’s IndiaAI Mission organised the AIKosh University Engagement Programme at Chitkara University on 6 August 2026. The event, part of the Mission approved in March 2024, aimed to raise AI awareness, democratise access to AI resources and equip students with tools to join India’s growing AI ecosystem. Over 250 students attended expert sessions and hands‑on activities introducing them to AIKosh – India’s unified data platform that currently hosts more than 14,000 datasets, 300 AI models and 30 toolkits. Participants explored the AIKosh Model Context Protocol and SDK, and were encouraged to contribute datasets and develop proof‑of‑concept AI applications for public‑good use cases.
