Insurance Division, DFS Secures 3rd Rank in Group A Category of Grievance Redressal Assessment & Index (GRAI) for June 2026

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) released the CPGRAMS monthly report for June 2026, noting that the Department of Financial Services (Insurance Division) secured the 3rd rank in the Group A category of the Grievance Redressal Assessment & Index (GRAI), while its Banking Division ranked 6th. The DFS has remained among the top 10 ministries/departments since November 2025. In June 2026, the DFS disposed of over thirty thousand grievances, with senior officials personally reviewing randomly selected cases. Regular workshops on “Effective Grievance Redressal Mechanism” are conducted to enhance coordination, technology use, and a customer‑centric approach, reflecting a sustained commitment to transparent and accountable service delivery.
