BRICS WAVES Bazaar, a premier international marketplace for the creative economy brings together over 500 delegates from BRICS member and partner countries in Mumbai

The BRICS WAVES Bazaar, inaugurated in Mumbai on 6 August 2026, is a two‑day international marketplace for the creative economy that gathered over 500 delegates from BRICS member and partner countries. The event, endorsed by Maharashtra’s Cabinet Minister Adv Ashish Shelar and the Secretary of Information & Broadcasting Shri Chanchal Kumar, aims to foster dialogue, business engagement and cross‑border partnerships across film, television, animation, VFX, gaming, music and digital media. It is positioned as a platform for co‑production, content financing, technology exchange and market access, complementing the BRICS Film Festival scheduled alongside IFFI 2026. The Bazaar seeks to enhance circulation of BRICS content, promote South‑South collaboration and showcase the creative economy as a driver of innovation and economic growth.
