The Ministry of Defence announced the inauguration of a new 14‑storey multi‑level car parking facility at the Defence Offices Complex, Africa Avenue, New Delhi. The parking uses fully automatic robotic (dolly) technology, achieving 60 % higher space utilisation than conventional parking, and is equipped with CCTV surveillance and fire‑safety systems. The project, costing Rs 45 crore, was completed by CPWD in a time‑bound manner and is presented as part of the central government’s commitment to upgrade urban infrastructure with world‑class facilities.
