Union Environment Minister chairs Parliamentary Consultative Committee Meeting of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in New Delhi

The Parliamentary Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change met in New Delhi on 5 August 2026, chaired by Union Environment Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav. The meeting focused on human‑wildlife conflict (HWC) mitigation, reviewing actions taken since the previous meeting (18 Dec 2025) and examining state‑wise strategies from Assam, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
