The blocks are expected to generate roughly ₹1,983.67 crore in annual revenue, attract about ₹1,743 crore of capital investment and create 15,710 jobs. Since 2020, 147 blocks have been auctioned, contributing to domestic coal production and the goal of self‑reliance in the coal sector.
