MGAHV, Wardha Organises Special Lecture on "Education and Value Consciousness" as Part of Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam 2026

On 4 August 2026, the Department of Gandhi and Peace Studies at Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya, Wardha, held a special lecture titled “Education and Value Consciousness” as part of the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam 2026. The event marked six years of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) implementation and was organised under Ministry of Education guidelines. keynote speaker Sushma Sharma, Director of Anand Niketan School, highlighted NEP 2020’s qualitative reforms—greater inclusivity, multidisciplinary and student‑centric approaches, experiential learning, project‑based education and community engagement. Dr Rakesh Kumar Mishra underscored the need for education to instil ethical values, discipline and social responsibility. Participants discussed multidisciplinary education, research‑innovation, industry‑academia collaboration, skill development and employability.
