The Department of Posts, under the Ministry of Communications, issued a commemorative postage stamp to mark the centenary of late Shri Satish Gujral, a Padma Vibhushan‑award‑winning artist, architect, sculptor, muralist and writer. The stamp was unveiled on 3 August 2026 at Bikaner House, New Delhi, by Union Minister of Communications Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, in the presence of senior postal officials and members of the Gujral family. The design, created by Shri Anuj Kumar on the proposal of Ms Raseel Gujral Ansal, depicts Gujral seated with a paintbrush against a purple‑blue backdrop reflecting his artistic style. The minister highlighted stamps as carriers of the nation’s cultural legacy and expressed confidence that the stamp will preserve Gujral’s legacy for future generations.
