CSIR–CRRI Flags Off Indigenous Network Survey Vehicle for Urban Road Monitoring; Launches Field Survey for CAQM-Supported Standard Framework Project in Delhi NCR

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Central Road Research Institute (CSIR‑CRRI) flagged off an Indigenous Network Survey Vehicle (NSV) in New Delhi. The NSV, equipped with high‑speed laser profiling, UHD imaging, GPS/GNSS and AI‑enabled analytics, will conduct condition assessments of urban roads across Delhi NCR. The vehicle’s data will feed the project “Implementation of the Standard Framework for Paving and Greening of Urban Roads in Delhi NCR,” a collaboration between CSIR‑CRRI and the Delhi PWD under a MoA, aligned with the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) framework to curb dust pollution and improve road asset management.
