Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has launched Upgraded NYPS 2.0 Portal for Nationwide Participation

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs launched an upgraded version of the National Youth Parliament Scheme (NYPS) web portal, NYPS 2.0, on 11 September 2024. Unlike the earlier portal, NYPS 2.0 is open to all educational institutions, groups and citizens across India. Between its launch and 21 July 2026, the portal recorded registrations from institutions, groups and individuals in each state and Union Territory, e.g., 104 institutional, 65 group and 2,139 individual registrations in Bihar; 620 institutional, 88 group and 13,404 individual registrations in Madhya Pradesh; and 179 institutional, 41 group and 3,204 individual registrations in Delhi. The data were provided by Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Dr L. Murugan in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
