Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Launches 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan'; Calls Upon Every Citizen to Join the Movement

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’ via a nationwide video conference, connecting over one crore youth from more than 28,000 locations. The 100‑week action plan envisions a weekly anti‑drug activity on Sundays, supported by over 125 spiritual organisations, NGOs and the Kashi Declaration. The Ministry highlighted the MY Bharat platform, which links 2.23 crore young people for volunteering and leadership, as the implementation vehicle. Union Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya linked the campaign to the broader vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’, emphasizing youth health, confidence and drug‑free living as essential for national development.
