Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launches ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’, a national 100‑week campaign aimed at creating a drug‑free youth for achieving a Viksit Bharat. The launch was conducted via a video conference that connected over one crore young citizens from more than 28,000 locations. The initiative, which began as a pilot in Kashi, is now backed by over 125 spiritual organisations and numerous NGOs and includes weekly activities on art, culture, sports and meditation. The Prime Minister urged families, yoga practitioners, rehabilitation centres and college professors to actively participate, and highlighted government actions such as large‑scale drug seizures and increased arrests of dealers.
