136th Meeting of Enforcement Task Force (ETF) reviews enforcement actions, compliance status and sector-specific inspections across NCR

The 136th meeting of the Enforcement Task Force (ETF) of the Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) was held on 31 July 2026 to review enforcement actions for the period 14‑24 July 2026. In 11 days, Flying Squads carried out 159 inspections – 22 at construction & demolition (C&D) sites, 97 in the industrial sector and 40 on diesel generator (DG) sets. Based on inspection reports, closure of 17 projects (11 C&D, 6 industries), sealing of 11 DG sets, eight compliance orders and five environmental compensation cases were proposed. Cumulatively, 28,084 units have been inspected, yielding 1,805 closure directions and 1,456 resumption orders. Road‑work inspections covered 106 stretches (≈38 km) in Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Gurugram, leading to corrective directives.
