THE PRESIDENT INTERACTS WITH A GROUP OF GRASSROOTS INNOVATORS

On 31 July 2026, President Droupadi Murmu met a group of grassroots innovators under the Atal Innovation Mission at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre. She toured their exhibition, which showcased solutions in waste‑to‑wealth conversion, energy conservation, accessibility for women and persons with disabilities, environmental protection, agriculture and art preservation. The President highlighted that grassroots innovations combine local experience, scientific thinking and social responsibility, and stressed the role of Atal Community Innovation Centres in providing guidance, technical support and platforms to turn ideas into sustainable enterprises.
