Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme, delivers a package of six services—Supplementary Nutrition, Pre‑school Non‑formal Education, Nutrition & Health Education, Immunisation, Health Check‑up and Referral Services—through Anganwadi Centres to children (0‑6 years), pregnant and lactating women, and adolescent girls (14‑18 years) in aspirational districts and the North‑Eastern Region. Two lakh AWCs have been sanctioned as Saksham Anganwadis equipped with LED screens, water‑filtration, Poshan Vatikas and ECCE material. Anganwadi workers receive performance‑based incentives (₹500/₹250 per month) for growth‑monitoring and home‑visits. The Centre funds smartphones and growth‑monitoring devices (≈₹10,000 + GST per phone, ₹8,000 per device set) for real‑time data capture via the Poshan Tracker app.
