TDB-DST Supports M/s Foodtechnics Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, for Commercialization of Indigenous Compact Automatic Roti Making Machine

The Technology Development Board (TDB) of the Department of Science & Technology has approved financial assistance to Bengaluru‑based M/s Foodtechnics Pvt. Ltd. for commercialising the ROTIDO C‑150 – an indigenous compact automatic roti‑making machine. The device integrates a 2 kg kneader, dough‑feeding, pressing and three‑layer roasting in a single unit capable of producing up to 150 rotis per hour for households, restaurants, cloud kitchens and institutional kitchens. The project, also supported under the NIDHI PRAYAS Scheme, aims to replace imported kitchen‑automation equipment, enhance hygiene, reduce manual labour and strengthen domestic manufacturing of food‑processing equipment.
