Progress under PMKSY

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries reports that under the centrally‑funded Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY), 1,735 projects were approved as of 30 June 2026, of which 1,256 have been completed. These completed projects have created 294.21 LMT per annum of processing and preservation capacity, benefitted about 37.76 lakh farmers and generated 9.16 lakh employment opportunities. PMKSY is demand‑driven, with applications invited through Expression of Interest; funds are not allocated state‑wise. The scheme offers grants‑in‑aid/subsidy and special financial assistance to Farmers Producing Organisations, including a 35 % credit‑linked subsidy up to ₹10 lakh and a 35 % grant up to ₹3 crore for common infrastructure. No project under PMKSY has been sanctioned in the Bharatpur Parliamentary Constituency.
