PRESIDENT DROUPADI MURMU LAUNCHES VARIOUS INITIATIVES AT RASHTRAPATI BHAVAN TO MARK THE COMPLETION OF FOUR YEARS OF HER PRESIDENCY

On 28 July 2026, President Droupadi Murmu marked four years in office by inaugurating several initiatives at Rashtrapati Bhavan and the President’s Estate. The launches included an app‑based e‑Audio Guide in Hindi, English and 14 other Indian languages with a sign‑language module; the third edition of e‑Upahaar featuring 300 curated gifts for public auction; the ‘Bachpan Bal Parisar’ children’s zone with a play area and a Samarth Anganwadi‑cum‑Palna; RAAHI – a fare‑free electric bus service operated by women drivers and conductors; and the laying of a foundation stone for a service block under the Net‑Zero Energy Strategy. In addition, new accommodation facilities were inaugurated at Rashtrapati Niketan (Dehradun) and Rashtrapati Nilayam (Secunderabad), and publications on the President’s tenure were released.
