Availability of Bharat Taxi in Purvanchal Areas of UP

Bharat Taxi is a cooperative‑led digital mobility app operated by Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited (STCL), a multistate cooperative society registered under the MSCS Act 2002. It currently serves Delhi‑NCR, Gujarat and Maharashtra, but has not been officially launched in Uttar Pradesh, specifically the Purvanchal region. The Union Government has incurred no expenditure; STCL finances development, promotion, maintenance and operation. STCL periodically reviews the app’s performance on parameters such as customer experience, grievances, fare competitiveness and technology, and undertakes corrective actions based on these reviews.
