Number of PACS in Ujjain

The Ministry of Cooperation reports that Madhya Pradesh has established 680 new Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). In Ujjain district, 22 PACS were established since the calendar year 2025, bringing the total sanctioned PACS to 194, of which 172 have been digitalised and computerised on a common ERP PACS software. Model bye‑laws for M‑PACS enable more than 25 activities, including 22 M‑PACS in Ujjain. Under the Centrally Sponsored Computerisation Project, hardware and software for 172 PACS have been implemented in Ujjain, with the Government of India contributing 60 % of Rs 2.22 crore. The National Cooperative Development Corporation has disbursed ₹0.52 crore over the last five years for cooperative development in Ujjain.
