NDRF Academy Organises Two-Day Road Accident Response Course for Traffic Volunteers in Nagpur

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Academy in Nagpur inaugurated a two‑day Road Accident Response Course for traffic volunteers on 27 July 2026. The programme was launched by Shri Gurminder Singh, Commandant (Training), NDRF Academy, and attended by Shri Aaditya Mirkhelkar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Nagpur. It aims to equip volunteers with first‑aid, CPR, safe evacuation and emergency‑preparedness skills, and to improve coordination with emergency response agencies. The training underscores the role of volunteers as first responders during the ‘golden hour’ of road accidents, thereby enhancing road safety and community resilience.
