He reiterated that talks with Pakistan would be limited to the issue of Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir, which he described as an integral part of India. The minister contrasted India's progress in defence indigenisation, chip design, space missions and digital payments with Pakistan's alleged support for terrorism and infiltration. He paid tribute to the Kargil war heroes, highlighted the unity symbolised by the war memorial, and emphasized the need for a "nation‑first" spirit among citizens.
