DPIIT's One District One Product Initiative Promotes 1,244 Unique Products Across 773 Districts
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) reports that the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative has identified 1,244 unique products across 773 districts. To boost market access, the government is providing up to ₹200 crore per state/UT as a 50‑year interest‑free loan for PM Ekta Malls, and the PMFME scheme offers a 35 % credit‑linked subsidy (up to ₹10 lakh) plus a 50 % grant for branding and packaging of ODOP food products. A dedicated ODOP storefront on the Government e‑Marketplace lists over 500 categories and 1,300 products, while more than ten states have launched their own e‑commerce platforms. Internationally, ODOP products are promoted through collaborations with the MEA, three retail stores abroad, and ODOP walls at Indian missions.
