‘Poshan Tracker’ digital application is an important governance tool for real time monitoring and tracking under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0

The Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched the ‘Poshan Tracker’ digital application as a governance tool for real‑time monitoring of Anganwadi Centres (AWCs), Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) and beneficiaries under Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0. The app records data on AWC opening, child attendance, ECCE activities, growth monitoring, hot‑cooked meals and Take‑Home Ration (THR), and uses Aadhaar‑based facial recognition for beneficiary verification (99.88 % Aadhaar‑verified). A Nominee Module allows a designated nominee to collect THR on behalf of the beneficiary. The government funds smartphones and growth‑monitoring devices for AWWs, and the app hosts 249 ECCE videos, 190 audio messages and over 130 activity resources to support early childhood stimulation.
