NEP 2020 is laying the foundation for an inclusive, skill-centric and future-ready education system – Union Minister of State for Education

Union Minister of State for Education Dr. Sukanta Majumdar highlighted the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 as a transformative framework for an inclusive, skill‑centric and future‑ready education system. Speaking at the concluding session of the two‑day Conclave of State and UT Education Ministers, he stressed that effective implementation of centrally sponsored schemes—such as Samagra Shiksha, PM POSHAN, Tithi Bhojan and the PRAGATI platform—is essential to achieve the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The Conclave served as a forum for Centre‑State collaboration, sharing best practices and addressing challenges in school education delivery.
