NeVA Sewa Kendras have been established in 22 Legislative Houses
The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs reports that National e‑Vidhan Application (NeVA) Sewa Kendras – e‑facilitation centres – have been set up in 22 legislative houses. Under NeVA’s Capacity Building component, orientation workshops and hand‑holding support are provided to stakeholders of all on‑boarded legislatures. A session on NeVA was delivered to the newly elected members of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly on 04 July 2026. The NeVA Public Portal, available in 23 languages, offers citizens online access to legislative business such as bills, questions and proceedings of legislatures on the platform. The information was conveyed by Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, in a Lok Sabha written reply.
