Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya Holds 4th Convocation; 121 Students Graduate Across B.Tech. and MBA Programmes

The Ministry of Railways’ Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) held its fourth convocation on 17 July 2026, graduating 121 students from B.Tech. and MBA programmes, including the inaugural MBA in Metro Rail Management. The university conferred its first honorary Ph.D. on Shri E. Sreedharan for contributions to transportation and infrastructure. GSV, a central university established under an Act of Parliament on 6 December 2022, functions as a nodal agency for the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, having trained over 2.4 lakh officers across railways, defence and civil services. The institution follows a demand‑driven, industry‑focused curriculum aligned with the National Education Policy 2020, emphasizing sectors such as MRO, logistics and transport engineering.
