Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Dedicates to the Nation 75 Amrit Bharat Stations Across India

On 18 July 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 75 redeveloped railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, marking the second nationwide dedication after the 103 stations dedicated on 22 May 2025. The stations span 20 states and were redeveloped at an estimated cost of Rs 1,570 crore. The scheme, launched in December 2022, aims to modernise 1,340 stations across the country; to date, 261 stations have been completed. The upgraded stations feature modern passenger‑centric amenities, improved accessibility, and designs that reflect local heritage while incorporating future‑ready infrastructure.
