NHA Concludes Two-Day National Review Meeting on AB PM-JAY and ABDM; Centre and States Chart Roadmap for the Next Phase of Health Reforms

The National Health Authority concluded a two‑day National Review Meeting (17‑18 July 2026) on Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM‑JAY) and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). Senior officials from the Ministry of Health, NHA, State Health Agencies and development partners reviewed progress, shared best practices and charted the next‑phase roadmap. The meeting emphasized financial sustainability of AB PM‑JAY, strengthening public hospitals, and the role of health analytics, artificial intelligence and interoperable digital infrastructure in accelerating digital health transformation. Fifteen awards were presented to states and union territories for outstanding implementation across various performance indicators.
